Mike Guerrero is set to return as the Biloxi Shuckers manager for the 2026 season, marking his ninth year in Biloxi and 27th as an MiLB manager. Guerrero's return comes after a successful two-season stint as a roving infield instructor, where he worked with multiple affiliates within the club. Guerrero's staff includes hitting coach Kevin Martir, pitching coach Josh Spence, assistant coach Matt Lipka, and associate head coach Tyson Cooper. Joe Ayrault, who managed the Shuckers from 2024-25, has been promoted to Brewers Minor League Field Coordinator. Guerrero's 1,400 career wins make him the winningest coach in the team's history, and he needs just 55 more wins to hit the 1,500 milestone. Guerrero has managed 71 of the 82 former Shuckers who have made their MLB debuts, including Corbin Burnes and Freddy Peralta. Martir, a minor league coach for eight seasons, enters his third season at the Double-A level and second with Biloxi. Spence returns for his second season as pitching coach, guiding a pitching staff that included four Brewers Top-30 prospects in 2025. The Biloxi Shuckers, the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, are set to play their first home game on Tuesday, April 7, against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
