A tragic event unfolded in Brampton this past Saturday, leaving one man dead and the community in shock. The incident occurred near the intersection of Loafers Lake Lane and Conestoga Drive, a location situated north of Sandalwood Parkway East and west of Kennedy Road North. Peel Regional Police responded to the scene shortly after 7:15 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim who was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics confirmed to CTV News Toronto that the victim was a young adult male. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
The suspect(s) managed to escape the area, prompting an active investigation. Police have stated their belief that this was an isolated incident.
